Most discipleship efforts around sexual sin focus on managing behavior—accountability, filters, and willpower. But beneath the behavior is a deeper story of shame: "I am dirty, unlovable, beyond help." When shame is left unnamed, people stay hidden, even while they are "doing the right things."
The gospel does more than restrain behavior; it speaks to the wound itself. Oaks of Righteousness helps churches apply the finished work of Christ—justification, union with Christ, adoption, sanctification, and life in community—to the places where shame has taken root, so people can walk in honest, durable freedom.
